The County Championship XC event was run on Sunday 10 January 2016 at a very muddy Horspath course. There were good fields in most age groups and once again, the races were run in conjunction with the third race of the Oxmail XC series.

Numbers for athletes entered in the above can be collected from your team managers for Oxon clubs; for individual entries, the numbers will be available from Professor John Sear (who is the referee for the championships). Anyone owing entry fees can give those to JWS or send them by post after the event.
Because of the football at the Kazzam Stadium, all athletes should allow extra time for travel and parking (at BMW).

The 2016 Oxfordshire Cross Country County Championships will take place on Sunday 10 January at Horspath (OX4 2RR) which is near the Eastern bypass around Oxford (along with the third round of the Oxfordshire XC league).
Be aware that the event clashes with the FA Cup fixture between Oxford United and Swansea City – it kicks off at 12 noon. All roads in the Horspath area, the ring road in particular, will suffer from congestion. You are advised to arrive 45 minutes earlier than normal.
