Last week 32 athletes from Oxfordshire travelled to Birmingham for the English Schools’ Track & Field Championships.
In the senior girls, Isobel Griffin Morris threw 42.25m in the discus winning the silver medal while team mate Luisa Chantler Edmond came 4th with a throw of 40.79m. Emily Thompson also brought home a silver medal in the 800m running 2:06.71. Katie Hetherington was equal 4th in the high jump with 1.66m, just missing out on a bronze medal by 3cm.
