We are now advertising Level 2 courses at Horspath Road on Friday 23 October - in Health & Safety, Field, Starter/Marksman and Timekeeping. Further details are on the England Athletics website (links below). Please do encourage any would-be officials to apply asap: we do need these courses to run, if our clubs are to be well provided with officials in the years ahead.

The closing date for the England Athletics Volunteer Awards 2015 is now less than three weeks away. As a Regional Councillor I have seen the list of nominations received so far for the South East. Although there has been a good response so far, there are still some categories without a nomination yet (Volunteer of the Year and Official of the Year) and, as of last Wednesday, THERE ARE NO NOMINATIONS FROM OXFORDSHIRE.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the long serving Oxon AA official and co-founder of Radley AC, Charles Kear this morning at 0340am after suffering ill health for some years.
Our sympathy goes to his wife Eileen, the president of the Oxon AA, and their children at this time. A full tribute will be put on the Radley AC website in the coming days.
