Oxon AA organises County Championships and inter-county events, selects County teams and leads athletics in Oxfordshire. More ➜
The County is invited to select teams for the events at this cross-county. The closing date for entries is 24th November. By this time, only one Oxmail league fixture will have been held. hence selection will have to depend largely on athletes performance at the Chiltern League fixtures, and at other national meetings. It is therefore ESSENTIAL that clubs let me know the performances of athletes seeking County selection by 17th November at the latest.
The Berks, Bucks & Oxon cross country championships will be held on Sunday November 19th 2017.
The championships will be hosted by Reading AC and held at Prospect Park, Reading, RG30 2ND. All clubs, schools & colleges within the three counties are invited to compete in these championships. All competitors must be first claim members of their club.

This message is confirm that these will be held on Wednesday 16 August at Horspath - with a start time of 6.45pm. I now have a licence from UK-A, so the results will appear on Power of 10. Those athletes who have already indicated their wish to run need do nothing further; but other entries can be made until 18.00 hrs on Monday 14th by e-mail to email@example.com (including their date of birth and UK-A registration number). Athletes must be eligible to compete on the basis of residence OR birth.
Last week 32 athletes from Oxfordshire travelled to Birmingham for the English Schools’ Track & Field Championships.
I have been informed that the OCAC Open meeting on 19 July has been cancelled; hence it is necessary to find a new date for these 3Km races. I am looking at August 16; also at Horspath - but will confirm in due course.
Can athletes, who have already indicated they wished to compete in the races, confirm whether they are still able to do so on this new date?
Congratulations to James Charles and Gareth Smith! Both have recently gained Level 1 qualifications from the governing body.
Gareth is now a Level 1 Field Judge, while James is a Level 1 Starter and Starter’s Assistant – alongside his previous qualifications as a Level 3 Field Judge and Level 1 PF Judge and Track Judge.
Find attached the results of the County 3 Km Track Championships held at Horspath, Oxford on 18th June 2017.
