English Schools XC proves to be one of the most prestigious and competitive races of the year. The likes of Mo Farah and Paula Radcliffe have won previous editions.

The first 8 finishers in both the Junior and Intermediate races will be selected to represent England Schools at the SIAB (British Schools) International. Oxfordshire were proudly represented by Isla McGowan at both the 2022 and 2023 editions, and Leo Blyton at the 2025 International match.
