Oxfordshire Athletics Network is organising a Coach Development Day on Sunday 15 November 2015 at Tilsley Park, Abingdon (10:15-15:00).
Mike Leonard (sprints), Paul Weston (horizontal jumps) and Sarah Graham (nutrition) will be taking sessions.

The upcoming series of England Athletics coach development workshops have recently been announced – attached is a flyer for the local movement skills workshops (designed for Run Leaders, Coaching assistants and athletics coach keen to refresh/update their knowledge) as well as the Regional technical workshop days (for those with the Athletics Coach, Coach in Running Fitness or Level 2 or above qualification).
UKA is to adopt the IAAF rule book from April 1, 2016. Recently there has been an extensive survey as to whether the adoption of the IAAF rule book should include changing UKA age groups from the current U20, U17, U15 and U13 categories to the IAAF’s U20, U18, U16 and U14 categories. The Nasio Trust, together with Oxfordshire Athletics, is holding a relay marathon on Sunday 22 November 2015 at the Roger Bannister Running Track, Iffley Road, Oxford. It is open to all (middle distance runners, sprinters, throwers, parents, friends and coaches. The event has a UKA permit and therefore club members will have their times recorded on poweroften.
