ESAA Midlands Regional Round 23/24 June at Tilsley Park

Submitted by Joe on

This years Midland round of the ESAA combined events takes place at Tilsley Park on the weekend of the 23/24 June.

Events start on both days at 10.00am and registration for teams/individuals will be open from 9.00am.

Oxfordshire hosts this years event and entries for the 24 team places are still open (closing date is 12 June). The boys entries are particularly light.  This is a great opportunity to take part in a combined event meet, representing Oxfordshire and potentially qualifying for the national finals in September.

Entries for the County Championship races close on 23 May, and deadline for open entries is 30 minutes before the race. Complete the entry form and email it to town.gown@yewneek.com. These races are included in the Town vs Gown match, organised by the University.

Parking - County Championships

Submitted by Joe on

At this year's County Championships at Horspath there is no parking available at BMW. Instead we are arranging for overflow parking on the Horspath site playing fields. Please follow signs for parking when you arrive. There must be no parking on road verges - and infringers will be notified to the police. And please think about car-sharing wherever possible to minimise the amount of traffic arriving on the Horspath site.
