The 5Km track championships for 2017 will be held in conjunction with the Banbury Harriers Open Event on September 3rd. Entries are welcome from athletes with County qualification either through birth or residence (>9 months). In addition, entries from other athletes will be welcome.
Please enter using the attached form; clearly marking that form with the heading 'COUNTY 5KM'; and making cheque payable to Banbury Harriers AC . Medals will be given for both men and women. The closing date is 31 August.

This message is confirm that these will be held on Wednesday 16 August at Horspath - with a start time of 6.45pm. I now have a licence from UK-A, so the results will appear on Power of 10. Those athletes who have already indicated their wish to run need do nothing further; but other entries can be made until 18.00 hrs on Monday 14th by e-mail to john.sear@gtc.ox.ac.uk (including their date of birth and UK-A registration number). Athletes must be eligible to compete on the basis of residence OR birth.
Last week 32 athletes from Oxfordshire travelled to Birmingham for the English Schools’ Track & Field Championships.
I have been informed that the OCAC Open meeting on 19 July has been cancelled; hence it is necessary to find a new date for these 3Km races. I am looking at August 16; also at Horspath - but will confirm in due course.
Can athletes, who have already indicated they wished to compete in the races, confirm whether they are still able to do so on this new date?
