OAA T & F Championships, May 13 and 14th 2017

Will all athletes please note that the PREFERRED method of entry is via the website. Although there is a paper entry form, this was intended ONLY for those without computer access.

Can all athletes also remember to insert a PB for each event? This is necessary for proper seeding in track events. At the moment, too many entries are without this important information. It can be entered on line until site closing next Friday.

Senior IC Athletics Match; July 2 at Kingsmeadow

There has been enough interest for Oxon to accept the invitation to compete in this 8-county event this year. That doesn't mean that more interest will be ignored! As usual, athletes will be chosen on the basis of performance at the County Championships (and other major events).

There is still need for a team manager (or managers) to support the athletes. Again offers of help in this direction will be welcome.

I hope we can put out a good representative team.

To all senior athletes:

Once again Oxon is invited to the above 8 counties fixture. Last year, we failed to support the occasion due to a lack of interest from both athletes as well as anyone willing to support the County by being the Team Manager.

My earlier note to clubs about this fixture got a mixed response – one or two being supportive; and one being very anti- ! I am sure that, if we do not support the fixture this year, our future invites will be withheld. Hence this note is going to both clubs and athletes.
